Rootseer – Awakening

“Rootseer” is an original character concept exploring the connection between nature and human perception.

This piece focuses on a close-up moment where the character begins to sense a disturbance within the natural world.

The glowing eyes and green veins are visual elements used to represent his connection to nature and the activation of his abilities.

The main focus of this work was:
• facial expression and subtle emotion
• lighting and atmosphere
• storytelling through minimal visual cues
